The Prestonville Community Association was formed in 1998, since when it has organised two street festivals and the annual Community Carols, organised the planting of 70 street trees, liaised with the Council over traffic management, cycle routes, safe routes to schools, and other planning issues, and has held public meetings on issues of local concern.
A committee is elected each year at the AGM, and meets about four times a year. Members can be co-opted at any time during the year. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining the committee.
Everyone living in the Prestonville area is a member of the PCA, but we have no regular income to cover our running costs. Even if you don’t have time to get actively involved, you might like to show your support by making a small annual donation through the Friends of Prestonville scheme.
